Since their major immigration in the mid-1800s, Irish-Americans are still the largest ethnic group in Chicago. Throughout the city, signs of their influence is present with parades, Gaelic festivals and countless Irish pubs. Some acclaimed Chi-rish include the Daley family, Bill Murray, and Lord of the Dance himself, Michael Flatley.
